    The “Trophées du Droit” awards are intended to reward, once a year, the most recognised French business law practitioners, after consultation and deliberation by a jury specialised by discipline and composed of professionals.

    Philippe & Partners was granted the silver trophy of the 2020 edition, in the category “best international law firms” for Belgium.

  • Philippe & Partners won, for the second time consecutively, the award for “Environment, energy and regulatory firm of the year” at the Belgian Legal Awards 2013 (now Trends Legal Awards), held in Brussels on March 14, 2013.

    The Belgian Legal Awards honour “excellence, continuity and innovation in the legal sphere” in eighteen different categories. Our energy department has certainly striven for innovation and excellence by working on topics that will shape the energy markets of tomorrow. The department is an important part of the firm and, having gained much recognition outside the firm, continues to expand its areas of expertise while striving for innovation and excellence.
    This is the sixth year in a row that our law firm has received an award. In 2009 and 2011 we won the awards for “Best Belgian law firm of the year” and in 2011 we were also awarded the “Litigation & Arbitration law firm of the year”. In 2010 and 2008 we received the award for “Banking & Finance law firm of the year”.

    We are proud and honoured of this new recognition by the legal community in Belgium and by our clients. This illustrates the fact that our efforts in the field of energy are highly appreciated, and we would like to share this recognition with all our clients, colleagues, suppliers and friends.
