Pierre Bernard (External Energy Advisor)

Of Counsel

Pierre has a significant experience in energy law, more specifically related to the power industry.

Besides his activities as Of Counsel for Philippe & Partners, he is also founder and Managing Partner of Bernard Energy/BEA, an independent consulting firm, created in 2011, that specializes in energy strategy and regulatory management consulting, with a particular focus on transmission & distribution, renewables, storage and new energy technologies. He is also Chairman of the Board of Friends of the Supergrid, a Brussels based non-profit organization active in the representation of various grid-related technologies.

Before creating BEA, Pierre was General Counsel, Secretary General and Head of Business Development of the Elia Group, the Belgian electricity transmission operator.
